SHIMANO EP 801

A new, improved generation of Shimano's popular EP8 motor. Worth mentioning is the super-light magnesium body weighing only 2.7 kg and a maximum torque of 85 Nm, which provides you with enough power to ride over any terrain. Compared to its predecessor, noise has been reduced, as has pedaling resistance by 36%, and peak power has been increased from 500W to 600W. The motor also features functions such as FREE SHIFT (shifting without pedaling) and AUTO SHIFT (intuitive automatic shifting) in combination with the Di2 drive only. You will simply love the new EP8 motor, which is suitable for all types of riders, from mountain bikers to urban explorers.
